The committee of Olympic Games Athens 2004 moved juridicially at TIM and Vodafone in order that both companies will remove their advertizing from the surface of high speed boats that are registered in the harbour of Piraeus.

According to current publication of the greek newspaper "TA NEA", the justification of relative extrajudicial document that was sent from the committee was based on the Olympic law in which is protecting the rights of official sponsors. That means it is not possible competitor' s advertising to be seen apart from the official sponsors in the Olympic spaces. Since Pireaus harbour is an Olympic harbour both TIM and Vodafone have removed all advertising.

TIM has removed also the service in which subscribers could be inform through TIM Imagine with all the latest news from the Olympic Games.
