Vodafone Egypt has signed an agreement with the arabic news
television network Al Jazeera in order to have the right to send
extraordinary notices of news to her subscribers. The general director of Vodafone Egypt Ian Gray made certain statements with regard to this collaboration: "The company for us provides exclusively pioneer services as this one. We permanently work in order to find advanced solutions in which our subscribers on one side are economising time but also effort and can correspond more comfortably in the continuous flow of information and in the development of technologies of
communications. We continuously search for powerful enterprising collaborators that will provide serious and reliable services as
precisely the Al Jazeera does in order to maximize the profits for our
subscribers..."
Hamad Al Naemie, person in charge of marketing of the arabic channel from the other side expressed his joy for this agreement that was signed with Vodafone and declared that such service might inform permanently her subscribers for the last developments from the arabic region but also from the international space. Mohamed Abdullah Al-Ebeidly, chairman of Al-Majaz expressed with his satisfaction for the
new pioneering step of the news channel saying that "...the beginning of the service in collaboration with Vodafone will signal an enormous development in the extension of Al-Jazeera and in other methods of briefing since Vodafone has already a very good fame."
The service is forecasted to 3 Euros monthly constant to all subscribers of Vodafone, contract and non contract. It is worth mentioning that news are transmitted "LIVE" which means they will be
delivered at the same time as they are broadcasted on air.
