DSS-20 Cable Connection Problem |

I've done several searches, but haven't found an answer to this:
I've connected a DSS-20 sync station to my new lappy, installed latest SE PC Suite, but the bl**dy thing won't connect.
Keeps saying "New hardware - USB to serial device" and, you guessed it!, no driver can be found.
Do I need to install XTNDConnect separately? If so anyone know where it can be downloaded?
Do I need to install this USB to Serial device driver? If so where can I get it?
The PC phone monitor properties (the think that look like this <-//->)
shows that there is an 'Unknown' potential connection on Com 3 but that is used by my built-in modem so that ain't gonna work.
I've installed/re-installed everything twice and still no go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You said it yourself: You need to install the drivers for the DSS.
Look at the bottom of your DSS-20: If it says "DSS-20" somewhere on the label, you should download drivers from here.
If it doesn't say "DSS-20" on the label, you should download the DCU-11-drivers from here.
Good luck! |
