Hi Guys!

Today got a bunch of new T68's in. They all sport the new R2A SW revision!

What I noticed about these phones:
Software R2A (was: R1C)
Hardware R3B (was: R1B)
IMEI: 350324-61-... (was: 350324-71-...)
Label (Box + Sticker on the back of phone) Sony Ericsson (was: Ericsson)
Made in Sweden (was: Malaysia)

- better voice quality both sending und receiving
- the mic isn't as (over-)sensitive as before
- Wap (GRPS + eMail) much, much faster
- Games, esp. Game are much more colorful and sport better graphics
- improvements with the building quality of the phone; no more issues with the keys
- It displays the specific phone symbols next to the last dialled phone numbers (Private, business etc.), also with the missed numbers
- T9, Menu + Phonebook faster
- No limits in characters with the Email
- Contrast of the display better, colours more crisp
- key-lighting improved, especially last row of keys now cleary readable
- Standbytime shorter??? Battery from the "old" ones showed 150h the "new" one only 80h ???

cheers,
hymie

(btw seen a lot t68's going through my hands, so know what i am talking about)

What do you mean with standby time 80h?. Shouldnīt it be about 300h when fully loaded.

Are there any exterior differences? Does it say T68m on the front or T68? Is it SonyEricsson labeld on the front or the battery? I think you shoud said but in case.

I wonder if it is a all new hardware because the things that you have written makes me think that.

So we are all loosers that have bought our T68 in the start? Or can they upgrade the Hardware for us?

I asked yesterday,..checked the Download site at the Ericsson service point. It wasnt there yet.
The newest one on the download-site was R1C.

But it should be around in the next week

Nope. The R2A does not contain the Photo album.
