joystick button |

ive got a problem. recentlly i purchased a second hand t68. somehow and somewhere i have lost the blue joystick button. now i am left with a t68 with no joystick!
i can still work the phone and all the functions but the phone does not look right without the button.
as the phone is second hand and it is less than a year old i am cautious about sending the phone to ericcson as it may be stolen.
i was wandering if you guys have any suggestions that could help me to solve this problem!

Take it to a service center and get them to put a new joystick on for you. You will have to pay but surely it will be worth it?! You could probably get a new joystick and fit it yourself but is it worth the risk?

go to a phone shop and pretend your lookin at a t68, and break the blue bit off, they are not put on very well cos its only a dummy. Ive done it before.

i think ill going to have to take it into a service center, any ideas on how much it will cost?
will they be able to find out if the phone is not mine by looking at the imei code on the phone or something!?!
i tried to pinch a button of a dummy phone but i had no luck! it was stuck on very well!

Well... you could try this...
Take out the SE logo on the back of the phone and superglue it on... I did this to my phone even with the blue bit on as I wanted a 'bigger' button to push... heh~ This way you won't get caught and you save $$... Don't go stealing the superglue if you haven't got some... LOL
