Hey guys, can anyone with a Z1010 please check the service info on there phone. I checked a few things on mine which look a bit odd.
Just to jog your memory service info is located by typing... ->*<-<-*-<* scroll to Service Info->Configuration. Once in the Config menu scroll right down to the bottom..The Following info is on mine

Imei xxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx

FR FR FR FR FR (Anyone know what FR stands for? I guess it like EFR for 2G?)

SAT on

GSM900 (So why dont I have GSM 800 and the frequency that 3g works on)

I know the Z1010 is dual band (tri when we talking about the 3g part)...

Anyone with any help of info would appreciate it.

The SE Z1010 supports the following three networks:

- GSM 900
- GSM 1800
- UMTS (3G)

That's the reason why you don't find GSM 800 in your Z1010. Maybe you meant GSM 1800?

FR stands for full rate. It is the most common voice coding method used in gsm. EFR is an enhanced one.

@ Bico

- GSM 900
- GSM 1800
- UMTS (3G)

Yeah sorrY I meany 1800, but why doesnt it show any of these other bands??? Not even UMTS. If I go into the same menu of another other SE phone, it will detail the following info as above except without the UMTS...
