Different Bluetooth classes for USB dongles? |

i'm currently in the UK, and I've been looking for USB Bluetooth dongles. Prices ranged between £10-60, and the range is either 10 or 100 M. One thing I noticed though, is that there is Bluetooth class I, II, and III.. what's the difference? are there any limitations in class I or II?? Which USB dongles would you recommend?
I did search the forum btw, but didn't find anything about the different classes of bluetooth!
Thanks!

A search here at Esato for +bluetooth +classes resulted in a lot of topics and posts.
For further information, to begin with, take a look at how far could bluetooth reach?, BLUETOOTH specifications and more and/or msi usb bluetooth key (MS-6967).

The differences are the power output. There are no max range set for the classes. But the normal range for different classes are usually:
Class 3 = 1 Meters
Class 2 = 10 Meters
Class 1 = 100 Meters
It has been possible to use the class 1 specification up to 1 km if i remember correctly.
