Hello Everyone. I'm new here and I was hoping if anyone can tell me how to load games into my k700 using a data cable. The games folder
wont show up and when i load the games into the phone, it keeps getting stored in the "OTHER" folder. Please help...Thanks.

the games folder won't show up to prevent you from taking items OUT of it

Which program do you use to upload to your phone?

and can you play them from the 'others' folder?

The files all have *.Jar extensions but they still wont go to the games folder. And when they go to the "OTHERs" folder, i can only move them to a new folder and nothing else. There is no option of playing the game from there.I followed the instructions in one of the post here about changing the extensions into "JAr" but i still can't play them. Thanks again for the replies. I really appreciate it.

Same thing happens with bluetoothing games to your phone, its just to prevent people sending them to each other for copyright purposes........with bluetooth, as opposed to sending them to your phone, you have to download then with your phone from your computer......if that makes sense.....that way they'll go in the Games folder. Hopefully there must be something similar with your datacable n software

If you're using Sony Ericssons default phone manager, add your games directly to "Phone memory" the root folder. It will then auto sort them into the games 'hidden' folder. They'll then be playable on your phone. If you want to delete them, do so directly with the phone.

Hope that helps.

Edit: Look i'm completely drunk, and i'm still nice enough to give a rather tacky diagram... well, a tacky picture at least...
