k700 missing frames! |

I don't know why I don't have frames working under camera 
when I choose camera/more/frames I return to the main k700 menu!
anyone has this missing? what should I do? I upgraded this morning to r2l but it didn't help!

oh no! they will take it 3 days to say in the end that they couldn't make it and that they will give me a new one,I know them well
I can't stay 3 days without my phone,I bought it 1 week ago could I claim a change in the shop?

I had the same problem and the when i went to the service to put the new software the phone wasnt working!!!!
The result was to send the phone to S.E for replacement but 7 days haved passed and nothing.I am still waiting for the new phone. |

you mean you couldn't access the frames and when you tried the FW upgrade the phone died?
Why you have to wait so much for a change? they don't have to give you directly a brand new one?

I thought also that they will give me a new phone at least in 1-2 days but nothing.Also they didnt tell me exacly if they will change the phone or try to fix it.They said that propably the problem was from the internal memory of the phone. |

it's surely a matter of software,but as I told you a simple FW upgrade is not sufficiant,they will have to do a full flash of the phone,like when the t68 passed to t68i,100% of the phone was formated before taking the new soft not 30% like they do with a simple fw upgrade

I hope that they will fix it but the problem is that nobody its telling me what is going to happend.In the store that i gave the phone to send it to the main service center they told me that they dont know anything yet and when i cald today the main service and ask them what its going on they said to me that they will find out and call me back.
That was 16 hours ago, still waiting

I don't know if I should wait a little bit more(2 weeks) till next time I upgrade the phone with the R3A which should repair lot of stuff?
since the phone is under warrenty I can claim for an exchange at any time no? |

yes last night,but nothing changed,it's like if the frames have NEVER been installed in mine and FW upgrades will not correct this unless they make a full flash of the phone,this is crazy because all the rest of the soft is soooooo perfect and bug-free

hi guys. i upgraded my K700i to R2L version here in Manila a week ago and here's what i have observed with regards to the missing frames issue. when i access my camera i have the following frames: double heart, extra, hiphop, hippie, monkey, superhero, tv star and wanted are these also the frames you have on your phone? i seem to have more frames when my phone was still in R2A. i don't know if the upgrade to R2L took out a few other frames. anyway, every frame works fine except for the double heart. the double heart frame doesn't show after you take a picture.
there's also another frames feature when you edit pictures (go to more->use->edit->tool->add frame). the add frame is disabled if the picture you are editing is not 160 x 120 in size. i then tried to edit a 160 x 120 picture but when i select the add frames option the phone will display "no more files." i haven't accessed this add frames before when my K700i was still in R2A version so i don't know if there are frames in that option. i also did a couple of master resets on my phone since i got it so i'm not sure if they were deleted permanently. can you guys pls check your K700i if you also had a similar experience with the said frames. thanks. |

They havent give a new one they just put the new software
r2l and everything is working.
But it took them 10 days to do it. |
