How would you know what GPRS class a handset is, and what GPRS class is the K700i? I find it very fast on WAP.

I can guarantee that it is gprs multislot class 10. That means that it is capable of 4+2, but max 5 timeslots at any given time. It is the network that assigns timeslots and you end up in either 3+2 or 4+1 maximum.

Exactly, class 10 is a speacial class, capable for 4+1 and 3+2. It is possible to get better uplink.

At present class10 is the highest and fastest.Again it is network and phone dependent as well.If your network is class10 and your phone is class 6(3+1),you will enjoy just the 3+1 transmission speed.
