For a while now i've been trying to get all my lovely photos off my K700i but i've had no luck! I have been using a data cable and Floats FMAbut it just isn't recognising my phone? I'm not sure i've downloaded exactly the right FMA stuff tho so...
Can we have a definitive 'check list' all the software you need installed to be able to run this ie mobile phone monitor etc and a direct link each file needed as i think this would benifit alot of people (yeh me included!), what do you think?

The first thing you need is the floAt's Mobile Agent 0.1.1.15 RC3.
For further information, go to floAt's Mobile Agent Online.
For free download, click on Fma 0.1.1.15 RC3 Setup File.
The next thing you need, if you use an USB-cable, is the appropriate USB-cable driver.
For further information regarding the original SE DCU-11 USB-cable, go to Sony Ericsson - DCU-11 Support - DCU-11 guides, solutions and software.
For free download of the original SE DCU-11 USB-cable driver, click on Sony Ericsson - DCU-11 Support - DCU-11 installation files - USB Cable Driver for Windows 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP.
The next thing to do is to configure the floAt's Mobile Agent (fMA):
- Start fMA
- View -> Options... -> General
- Configure fMA
If you use an USB-cable, do the following:
- Select Serial Port
- Select Port -> your COM-port
- Select Baudrate -> 9600
- Select RTS -> Enabled
- Select DTR -> Disabled
It might be a very good idea to read about floAt's Mobile Agent here at Esato.
For information, take a look at fMA f[??] Mobile Agent, software for sms and phone monitoring.

Yeah indeed, some people on this forum are very helpful!
Three cheers to them, they deserve it.
Others unfortunately, are only moaning and present only unhelpful and negative posts. Don't ask me names, I won't tell even if you ask me 55 times.

Float's Mobile Agent definitely is a must have software for T610/K700 users.
Using BT, syncing my PC and K700 is a breeze though I am running into some problems lately. |

Hi,
I have tried using the FMA software and it great, but when I go to the pictures folder it has all the sony pictures, but i can't access my camera photos folder. In fact it doesn't seem to recognise the subfolder as being there at all....

i have a sony ericsson z500a. i went to sony ericsson's site and downloaded the driveron to my laptop. when i tried to install it on my laptop, it wouldn't work. it'd say "Cannot install drive". then i went and installed FMA and followed those instructions. it installed okay, but it stillwon't recognize that my phone in connected to it and i dont know what to do. i have the usb dcu-11 cable, but not the cd hence all the problem. any help? email me back at wsheu1885@gmail.com with something in the subject line. i would appreciate it, thanks!! |
