So, what is K700i verdict |
hrsdo Joined: Nov 05, 2003 Posts: 23 PM |
I would like to buy SE K700i, and after reading posts here I understand next:
1. First firmware version is R2A041 and it has lots of bugs,
2. Second firmware version is R2E011 and it has maybe even more bugs than previous,
3. And I found that there is mention about R2J and R3A versions.
So, what is now the verdict, what is newest firmware version, and is it free of bugs.
Thanks for answers. |

In Emma II Sony Ericssons own update service thereīs R2J in the asian areas. Europe and USA thereīs R2E
If you talk to Sony Ericsson customer care it seems like itīs a major update on the way. |

My K700i also has firmware R2A041 and apart from Bluetooth sometimes taking a bit of time to stop after using with my headset, its fine... |

I also have the R2A version and virtually Bug free apart from the battery issue..I suggest you choose the phone by its Hardware number..! Certain batches tend to be defective..!
Yes R3A will be out soon..wait on..!

Just bought one today. Dont know the firmware version yet as its on charge. Hope its not a first edition version though as I couldnt cope with another bug ridden phone. Its why I went off Nokia and onto but just lately I've found my P900 had too many software faults/bugs and had to be sent away.

Well my K700 is bug free, except for the battery performance, which is slowly getting better as I discharge fully and then charge fully... |

The K700 has the same battery as the T230! Doesn't it? The BST-30 ?

Don't know the battery labeling. But K700 is delivered either with a 670 mAh battery or a 700 mAh (most have this one). |
