T616 Modem using bluetooth |

Hi All,
I am trying to configure my Dell 9100 (Windows XP Pro) to establish an internet connection through bluetooth to my provider using my T616.
I am really stuck and am starting to get frusterated with the run between Dell and Sony.
The Phone is paired correctly, I can synch send files anything else useful I can think of doing. I have created a dial up connection that works through my standard modem when I switch my phone as the modem and double click "My Dial-up Networking" in my bluetooth places.
My dialup networking establishes a connection to my phone and pops open the connection dialog. I input my provider information and click "Dial".
My phone dials for a split second and disconnects returning the error "678"
I have verified that the remote server does respond.
Currently the only options I have disabled is "My Audio Gateway" & "My Headset".
If anyone has any idea what could be wrong I would appreciate help.
Thanks in advance

Yah, if I look in my phone and modem options I have "Bluetooth Modem" on Com 8.
If it is any help I get the same result from trying to connect through the infared port.
I have spoken with Roger AT&T and they have said that there is nothing on their network that would stop me from doing this without purchasing WAP. This make sense as my dial up connection will provide me with my service. Am I wrong??
Thanks

Rogers AT&T does not support dial-up data, meaning you cannot dial a regular phone number to your ISP for data connection.
You have to use GPRS and pay $$$$$.

I spoke with Rogers and they told me that this could be done, even though I did have my doubts that the guy on the other end of the phone knew what he was taking about.
Especially since when I asked him how much WAP was and he told me I had to buy a cable
Thanks very much
