well over the weekend i was driving around w/my buddy and we got out of the car to go have breakfast and suddenly out of nowhere all i hear is "thump" on the CONCRETE!!! and i look down and there is my k700 on the floor having a concussion!!! oh it was horrible!!! i was so angry at myself for either having my phone in my shirt pocket or on my lap (i still dont know where exactly it was). my phone did suffer some scratches on the top left corner of it and on the bottom right corner...oh yeah it also has a very small dent on the top left corner. that is also how i dropped and messed uo my T68i. but at least i know the scratch resistant display does work!! so has anyone else accidently dropped their k700???

Yes, i have a few times. However the difference is mine is inside a full body neoprene case, which makes the phone bounce !

No damage to it at all !

@nhs03- Is your fone still working mate, does it have the feel and function of a brand new fone

Almost all of my fone that I had at present and during the past (about 30) did not suffer any 'fall' , except for my Nokia 7650, but still functioned well after a drop of about 2 meters- to a steel concrete! I always have a 'leather case' to support them - always, I don't take chances too

[Red_Rach] you can buy those Crumpler cases from any good camera shop. They fit the K700i perfectly, and protect it from knocks and dust.

I wish id got one a year ago for my T610, then it might be in a better (and dust free) state.

Heres the UK URL:

@Sutitan- is there no way something or someone can locate your phone cos i'm sure the whole mobile malarky means they can be detected within a few meters of where they actually are

yeah i guess you can say it still has the feel and function of a brand new one, after all i've only had it for about 2 weeks... yeah sux!! but one thing i did notice was that i hear a small cracking noise when i press the back of the phone (camera side) and most likely i will hear it while being on the phone, but oh well i'll be putting god knows what on it and hopefully it will stop the cracking. tanx guys for all the feedback!!
