James Wicks is to replace Timothy Parsay as the new chief designer for mobile phone and other personal communications products at Schaumburg’s Motorola Inc. Wicks was a veteran at Sony Corp working as a designer on different electronics, audio products and computing for Sony in Japan and the U.S. Motorola brough him on board in 2001 to improve the user-interface on the software running on its handsets.

I seriously doubt moto's will ever look like sony's even with x sony designer on board,but moto designs i presume will vastly improve from previous ones.They are on the right track though with the new razr v3.

Yes, embrace MOTOROLA. I couldn't stand them either 7 months ago. But they're slowly becoming my favourite brand. |

Their stuff used to be hideous, but now its starting to look a little more respectable. Still wouldnt buy one though.
