I would probably go for R310... R250 is waaaaaaay to big and the others feels a bit unsafe, at least if you should be in an enviroment with dirt and moisture...

I read a review of the Ericsson with the shark fin antenna and it got a great write up wanted one of those, I've got the ME45 and it's great, more features than the Ericsson, dunno about the Nokia, but it's a Nokia!! The Siemens is a good phone I use it when I don't want to damage my T68. Really good reception quality with the Siemens

6250. i think it's the best the ericsson ones are huge and the siemens is harder to use than a 6250. My advice is 6250. You got it, eh? 6250. That is what i think you should get. I mean 6250. It's good the 6250. Go for a 6250. 6250 is the best of all there. So you should buy a 6250 in my opinion. You do like the 6250 for your uncle, don't you? Well, get the 6250 then! The 6250 is the best solution! 6250! Go for a 6250!

does the R250 have a GH688 display, at least it looks like it when you look closer. But yes the at least R310 looks very good.

Thief Too much 6250 in your post but it was funny though

my uncle has that Ericsson...its a big brick, memories of my old Motorola...but he also has a T68 so he gets the best of both worlds.

very practical though, defnitely the 'throw it down anywhere' phone.

it also doubles as a toy sword.

sorry, the one with the shark fin aerial.
he uses his key to twist the lock on the battery cover...it really does look like a proper builders phone.

sorry, no experiences, but that 'shark' fin one, people seem to be more interested in that than my uncles T68...it has cartoon like qualities, if Tonka made a phone that would be it...reception is good from what he says too.

sorry, no experience with that ericsson, but I've had the r310, siemens m35i and the me45. the r310 seems the toughest, but it pales in comparison(ie, no T9) in terms of features against the siemens units.
