Master reset would delete them, but that is a drastic way.

In the SE T610 you can do the following:

1 - Activate the 12 icon desktop
2 - Select "Phonebook"
3 - Select "Add contact"
4 - Select "Home:", "Work:", "Mobile:" or "Other:"
5 - Select "Look up"
6 - Select "Unsaved numbers"
7 - Select a number that you want to delete
8 - Press the "C" key

Ok, sorry! I didn't know!

I have never understood, and I will never understand, why SE sometimes remove old but good and useful functions and features in new phone models... .

gseth,
to delete unsaved numbers on K700, just make a list of the numbers, and call them. You will then see the numbers showing up in your call list, so just save the numbers from there, for example "A". The numbers won't show up anymore in the 'unsaved' list, and you can delete it from your phonebook without worrying whether it would return.

I've got the same problem on my K800, does anyone know how to delete unsaved numbers? Have tried everything... even a master reset, the number is still there... spooky...

New contact =>New number =>Look up =>More =>Unsaved numbers
Then save all unsaved numbers. After save, delete the saved numbers. This will delete all unsaved numbers.

Just so you know, I d-branded the phone (using Andy's guide:http://www.tomcatuk.net/c902-debrand-from-vodafone-for-free/) and all the unsaved numbers have gone. I guess the same would apply with a firmware upgrade?
