I have just got my K700 and I am very dissapointed with the loudness of the ringtones. Does anyone know how to make them louder. I have put the setting to 8 but this is still not very loud.
I use Joybells so if anyone can re-record this and send it me I would be very apprecaitive.
Thanks

The tones on the K700 sounds low when you listen to them.. But when someone calls you it sounds way louder..

Also it depends on the loudness of the tone / mp3 you use.
In my mp3 editor i always crank the volume right up, and they sound really loud when transferred to the K700.

Thanks for the replies.
Even when someone rings me the ringtone is not very loud. I had the fone next to me in the car and didn't even hear that someone was ringing me. I need this to sorting or I will have to return the fone
I am on Vodafone so I am unable to use MP3's as ringtones.
HELP HELP HELP!!!!

Return the phone and get a none-vodaphone phone.
Then use MP3 ringtones, they're much louder than polyphonic midi tones IMO.

Yes, I would return the phone and get a non-branded phone. I am getting a non-branded K700 on vodafone delivered from Phones 4U monday. Told them that I was leaving if they gave me a branded phone. Try that approach, they wont want to lose a customer ... hopefully! |
