The known subject with the holes of safety of Bluetooth protocol, it comes back once again after the recent statement of Nokia, who promises as it appears to give solution in the distress of users of the Finnish company. If you remember the Bluetooth-enabled mobiles of Nokia and Sony Ericsson, were proved that they present voids of safety in that particular protocol always allowing each hacker (with the suitable equipment) to steel personal data from the appliance of the victim, known as Bluesnarfing.

Going few months behind therefore (and more concretely in February of
running year), the Finnish company admitted the voids of safety that concerned certain mobiles and declared that it is not to remove newer publications of software that will correct the problem, leaving substantially the users in the mercy of Bluesnarfers. Customers were very concerned and the holders of Nokia mobile rather felt... somehow uncomfortably with the support of their company, since theywere presented also new vulnerabilities, while the same moment newer firmwares Sony Ericsson had resolved the problem in the corresponding models of company.

Final Nokia, with a light delay... 5 months, it appears that reconsidered the subject and decided that it will circulate corrective publications of software that will cover the voids of safety of Bluetooth for the following mobile telephones: 6310, 6310i, 8910, 8910i as well as for the car phones models 610 and 810. This publications are expected to the end of this year's summertime, while at the same time are given also their directives ofinstallation.
