Satisfied from the characteristics and the capabilities of their mobiles are the customers of Nokias, Siemens and Sony Ericsson, according to the research of "Wireless Devices Strategies", that Strategy Analytics published last week.
On the other side the users of Motorola mobiles, were not satisfied in particular from their mobile operations, since there was a big delay in 2003 on presenting their new range of their products in Europe. More dissatisfied however are the customers of the two French companies, Sagem and Alcatel. Sagem clients are very dissapointed from their mobiles which feature almost nothing new, while the users of Alcatel believe that their mobiles are been let down in the sectors of screen, keypad and user interface.
While Nokia till recently is the only one who had the "advantage" of the very satisfied customers, Sony Ericsson and Siemens for the first time managed to satisfy their customers on the same level with Nokia.
According to the statements of David Kerr, vice-president of Global Wireless Practice, the rapid development of technology of mobile telephones allowed in smaller companies to conceive more rapidly the needs of consumers and to accomplish a reduction of the sales of Nokia.
David Kerr pointed also that we are in a season where the requirements of consumers are increased continuously, which is attributed in the presentation of new innovative services from the networks of mobile telephony. Finally, he pointed that style and performance are perhaps for the first time more important than the brand name of the manufacturer.
