Hi for months ive had my Motorola V600 which came with free with a BT headset, numerous occasions ive tried to pair both but haven't suceeded does anyone know how this done? So typical of Moto not to supply a guide on this :-l anyhows hope someone knows something :-)

ello,

I got given a v600 a few weeks back on free upgarde and use it as a works phone. (P900 still nice and safe)

here is what it says in the moto instructions for the headset:

Pairing
With the headset and phone in close proximity
Step 1: With the headsets boom closed, press and hold the multifunction button (the one in the middle of the headset!) until the head set indicator turns on. (The indicator will illuminate for about 3 seconds)
Step 2: Immediately open the boom (the indicator remains lit and the headset is in paring mode)
Step 3: Perform a device discovery from the phone
Step 4: Select the moto headset in the list
Step 5: Enter 0000 as the passcode and confirm.

Maybe u outta send me the details to just incase the 1st backfire on me ;-) everyone complains the HS800 is crap its awkward to pair? Is that why moto replaced it with the HS810 if thats the case would they swap mine for that lol ive only jus got myphone actually fixed since they done nothing the 1st time around to it but its got alot of scratches on it cos of emm :-(
