my last 3 or 4 digital cameras have been sony, I currently have the T1, and the pictures they take have always been great.
saw this one in dixons duty free the other day and it seems to be smaller than the previous models using the same styling (P10, P12 etc)
I'd say go for it

I didn't pay attention to the price as I'm not looking for another cam, but I always have a quick look around as I pass through north terminal on mondays and noticed it, maybe moreso because I vaguely remembered one being sold last week in this thread by jiggyjaggy
edit: I usually get them in from US or hong kong on ebay

Go for it mate! Getting that as your first digital camera will let you experience the joy of photography. You'll have all the features you need, and more, to enjoy capturing and creating that "Kodak moment". I have a slightly different Sony camera and love it to bits. Have fun when you get it and share some of your pics us.

I personally recommend Olympus 765 Camedia... great cam, with lot of possibilities and 12x optical zoom
