I've recently bought an old, secondhand 3210, whilst in a retro mood! The only problem is, it has a 'Celtic' logo that someone's put on it, and I don't know how to get it off! I've tried a master reset, but the logo's still there. I know it can be done with a data cable - but I don't have one for the 3210, and am a bit averse to forking out for one just to get rid of one logo!

Is there a way of getting rid of it - perhaps with a certain code being entered, or some kind of reset (apart from that 'master' one?)

As i remember u have to replace it with another one. Do u use the the same operator as the former owner? Not sure in it, but the nokia op logos had sg to do with the operator itself.

@bobafett - I think you may be right - just put a sim in from another operator, and it's come up with the default logo.

So, how do I get rid of that 'Celtic' logo - which appears with a Vodafone sim in, or are the only options open to me either spending money on the data cable, or as @DJpowelly says, get one downloaded from one of those companies that advertise in Saturday mags?

Oh, and it doesn't charge - I've tried swapping the charging block round with another, working one from another 3210, but no joy. Am I looking at a software problem, or a dodgy/broken connection on the PCB of the phone?

Just a little bump.

Anyone any ideas on the logo problem or the charging problem?

my old fone was a nokia 3210 (with slight modifications, I got someone to changed the LED's for bright blue ones, looks ace), for which I already have a Data Cable and Logo manager, with which I can send logos to anyone with a Retro fone (They dont look good on new fones), If you want PM me your number of your 3210 and I'll send you the network logo that you want (you'll need to tell me which network). Or anything else that you have seen if you can get me an URL of where I can take a picture of it. My new fone is a T630
