Ericsson Canada Inc. has arranged a new SMS deal with Rogers Sportsnet. In an interactive television collaboration, Ericsson and solutions provider MyThum Interactive Inc. will offer live-to-air text message programming on Rogers Sportsnet's Jays in an Hour show.

Beginning Friday, Toronto Blue Jays fans will be able to use text messaging on their mobile phones to interact live on the new Sportsnet Jays in an Hour show. Airing weekday evenings at 11:30 p.m. on game nights, Jays in an Hour highlights the game's best moments and, through text messaging, lets fans become an integral part of the show. Throughout the hour, viewers can use their mobile phones to send in their reactions, opinions and commentaries on the evening's game for display on the Sportsnet ticker.
