is there any probs with updating the firmware with my service provider being on Orange?

will they allow the firmware update on their phones? I used to have a 6150 and orange said if I updated to the latest firmware ceratin orange features may not work.
is it ok with Orange though? has anyone a T68m that is on Ornage and has converted their firmware to the T68i

I bought my T68 in Sweden and use Vodafone in UK. Just went into my local Carphone Warehouse and asked if they could upgrade it to T68i. Wasnt a problem at all, they didnt even ask on what network I was. So it shouldnt be a problem.
