Using K700 with Windows 98 |

Hello all, I'm a new member, great forum.
Can anybody help me with my new K700. Ok i'm aware of all the changes Orange have made i find myself in the situation with a laptop with Win 98SE on it. The software provided will not run on it. All i want to be able to do is transfer files etc between laptop and phone and maybe potentially use a syncstation (if SE ever sort out their live update facility). My qestion is can i use an older version of SE software that will run on 98 or maybe some generic software that will allow transfer via dongle or cable/syncstation? Fingers crossed some genuis can help!

I use win 98se and the K700i, I dont use the se software as it does not run on 98se but my Irda still works so I just transfer the files that I want to to and from the phone.
