Faulty charger in T68i box? |

After using the T68i for about 2 months now, I have experienced some difficulties with the charger that comes with the phone. The problem is that the charger will not stay properly attached to the phone when charging. The result is that I'm not able to fully charge my phone. The problems seems to be the conctact point on the charger. This is VERY annoying... Have anybody out there eXPerienced anything like this?
The DåMN SE support e-mail adresse doesnn't work.... |

Mine is ok, suggest you go back to your retailer and get a new one. They are also sold separatly so it shouldnt be a problem. |

yeah, I got the same problem. It keeps flashing up optimized charging, I guess because there's a dodgy connection. I bought it over the internet but cause I got orange care I guess this means orange will fix it?? T68i.

Not heard of this problem before, return it if it does it all the time. Ed

Had a similar problem on a HPM-10. one of the connector pins was not getting proper contact. Got a new on warranty.

Take a look at your phones plug and the chargers plug, see if those gold plates are damaged. You could also try cleaning it with alcohol.
If it still doesn't work, get a new plug.

My mates T68 has a loose charger connection problem, due to excessive use! The same thing has happened with my MP3 Handsfree kit!

My T68m pack was replaced in warranty 6 times(!!!) due to charging problems. Finally I upgraded to T68i, and it had the same.
The reason was the factory packed charger.
with a different kind (BML162130/15, the one with the changeable plug) everythink works fine.

I did a seach on charger problems and this thread came out. Mine's just over one month old and same thing happens to me. I'm quite reluctant to bring the charger to where I bought it from 'coz it might work ok if I did. I charged my unit last night and it kept me awake 'coz it would just not "bite" at times although when I dodged it a bit and made some nudge it did just fine. It got me worried 'coz it might damage my unit, or the the battery at the least.
Might as well just observe it for a couple more uses before I return it to where I bought it, anyways it's still under warranty.
I was also thinking that maybe it's because I keep the wire arranged the way it does when you first get it out of the box. maybe it screwed the wires a bit, I just dont know. |

scythe - don't worry about taking it back to the shop and the fault not occurring. it happens all the time and they're used to it. make sure the plastic lugs on the charger ain't broken/mangled though as they'll say customer damage and won't replace it under warranty. |
