i would stay well clear, anyone who sends you emails claiming to be able to offer you a product at a lower price is dodgy
if it is such a good price why do they feel the need to email people
thats my opinion anyway
ultimately its up too you |

I would call them on the phone and ask, if they are ebay personnel. This ensures you, you are talking to someone from ebay and not someone who just pretends to be a rep. from them.

Well mind you when you click to buy an item it logs on to a secure server HTTPS. So by that if I am not mistaken means you are protected if you pay by credit card and if the item doesnt turn up then you let your credit card company deal with it.
No loss to you. But I dont think calling them will make any difference to your DOUBT...because if they are pro's they will easily fool anyone.
Goodluck.. I would have given it a go, but as I dont need a P900 il give it a miss. |

That's not what https means! https just means that the data is sent encrypted from the server to you and vice vera. Normal http is not encrypted. It doesn't guarantee you in the least that you can get back your money if you have been fooled! |

As someone stung by a similar "offer" I'd say stay well clear and report the email to ebay

As far as ebay is concerned you should report this A.S.A.P.
Are they legit? Well, find one person you can reccommend them and judge the situation from that.
It sounds like a classic con, frankly, and any respectably company would not break ebay's policy of not conacting its users without authorisation.
Also, someone below has suggested that an https site is secure in the sense you can't be ripped off... erm, https = httpSECURE as in, the data is encrypted at the highest level your browser permits (64/128 with IE). It has NOTHING to do with fraud protection.
I'd forget them.

in answer 2 ur Q - no i would neva buy from them. I recommend you report them to ebay for the reasons mentioned above by everyone else. Also another thing telling me is a scam is the address, as the advice is alwayz given by ev'ry1 here not to buy on ebay from ppl from romania as it is almost alwayz scams. Look at the contact details down the bottom of that website:
"RomSellTech
Str.Brazilor Bl5
Brasov, - 50113
Phone: 004-0742296629
Contact: Info@romselltech.com"
Brasov is in romania.

I went to that website.. Gives me a bad vibe. With a bit of time, i could probably make a website liek that. Looks definately dodgy and the website looks second rate at best. would you really want to save a bit and lose a lot?
I was born with three legs. In the middle of my third leg, there's a dial pad, 65k color screen, , and on the tip there's a icon. |
