Heinz are rebranding their baked beans for the first time in its 76 year history. Baked Beans are going to become Baked Beanz to tie in with the slogan "Beanz meanz Heinz".
The company are also going to reduce the salt content in their beanz after government concerns about salt levels in food.
A Heinz spokesman told the HD Mail: "Heinz Baked Beans are a British institution and are ingrained in the nation's everyday eating habits.
"We want to continue to connect with our massive consumer base at all levels and ensure a contemporary brand identity for baked beans."
Maurice Drake came up with the original 1960s TV commercial slogan, Beanz Meanz Heinz, while scribbling ideas in a London pub.
The catchphrase was voted the best advertising slogan of all time by the UK's ad industry in 2000.
