Though I really haven't seen the specs and features of the SE S700 fone model, if basing it that it has much the same to that of the K700i I just guess that it will be a close fight What I miss with my Nokia 7610 is it's FM radio wherein the K700i has , though I appreciate the larger external memory my 7610 has (64 mb) compared to that of K700i's - (40mb) In the final analysis, I guess it will al boil down to a close fight - in my opinion |

I think so too, The S700 will have a great screen and you can use the memory stick duo up to 128mb.

@smellymarq - Nice comparison photo there mate The SE S700 sure looks new, I guess because it has a new navigational keys How about the features inside it, similar to that of the K700i I have the one on the left -Nokia 7610, very much the same I scanned it for my archive, here it is:
My Nokia 7610 - Front:
My Nokia 7610 - Back:
Accessories:
I was originally planning to get me an SE K700i, but unit run-out during the course of the local network's promo Had I known that the SE S700 will have this new kind of keypad, then I guess I just should have waited

In a biased forum, I doubt any of these "vs" topics would get several positive views from any mobile phone brand apart from . That said, my view is that the s700 would be superior in terms of screen resolution and clarity and camera capabilities than the 7610. the 7610 though would have higher storage capabilities than the s700 on its reduced size mmc (which in fact is very rare). the 7610 is also a symbian phone, meaning it can be upgraded and files can be installed onto the operating system unlike S700.
I personally like s700. 7610 looks funny |

I myself (a former Nokia user) just bought a k700i, to replace a bunch of phones, it's still the best phone that i've bought to date... from '99.
I'll surely get this phone (s700) around next year...
re: the 7610
It's good that Nokia included the USB cable... SE didn't.

But it is a totaly wrong comparaison 7610 is a smart phone (synbian,60 series...) & s700 is a nice looking one with great display so if u need a good camera go for s700 & if u need aplications + a not bad cam go to 7610

Is that true! But surely you can install an MP3 player on the Symbian OS?
