I suppose you've already tried this, but I had this happen to me once, and all I did was restart my PC, and the phone drives re-appeared. If still not working, it probably wouldn't hurt to unplug your cradle, make sure the PC's registered it being unplugged, then plug it back in, put the phone in it, wait and make sure it says "connected" in properties, and try again...

Good luck.

try going into the control panel - then phone monitor options - disable all the com ports - restart your computer - go back and enable the com ports if it doesn't do it automatically! if it still doesn't come on make sure your firewall is off click on the "my p900" icon then close the window - right click the connection icon in your tray go to properties click in the connection box to uncheck when its says dis-connected click it again to connect it - close the window - if it still doesnt come on - lift your phone out of your tray - restart the pc and when all is loaded back up place the phone back into the tray and see if the pc then automatically picks it up again! thats all the help i can give at the mo.

Update
I think it is the phone (or at least an app)
I can't uninstall Sman even when switched off.
I've done a soft reset (Batt out while still on)
And this did not help.
I can't do a back up 'cos it says phone is busy!!
And l' uninstalled the firewall sw.
When l get home l will try a hard reset.
