Hi, I'm new here and to the world of all this GPRS stuff.
I'm on Vodafone UK and I know that the price for GPRS is 0.73p per kb. However as I've nerb used it beofere I wondered how fast this goes on varias utilities and if there were any special plans for data on vodafone on pay as you talk.
My main concern is how much kb does IM and other utilites such as the things that get train times and stuff. Also I've seen some real web viewers but I'm unsure of the price, I would have thought that it would be the same size as a normal site which is a lot of kb. I dont tihnk there's a free plan for GPRS, but if there was one I'd love it.
I've noticed that some of you on this forum have posted from a particular phone and so it's possible, but doesn't aht cost you guys bomb? |

0.76p per kb is not worth it. That works out at £7.60 per mb. It's only 2.35 a meg on o2. I know who i'd pick. One esato wap page is about 1.2kb

Thanks for that info, well Vodafone seems to be a rip off but I can't really swap now cos I'm having my number transfered to them.
Is there any way i can get pre paid unlimited access on vodafone? I wanna use it all the time, and without unlimited well tahts jsut not gd enough. That would be like having my interent at home metered. Unmetered is the best way, is it possible amd is it cheap? |
