i guess this is what it would be called. well i have a t610 (good phone) and t mobile service (recently started) and i want to get a nokia 3660. i want to keep the service i have now from t mobile but just use the 3660 instead of the t610. do i have to contact anyone or do i just buy a unlocked 3660 and put my sim card in and charge it and go? |

You just buy the unlocked phone and put your SIM in. If your SIM is not locked by the network provider it will work.

two ways really
try a friends sim from another operator and if it works you are not locked
also you can go into the service menu using
> * < < * < *
where < and > are jostick movements in that direction and check the sim lock menu. if all padlocks are open and number 5 is shown then you are fully unlocked.

There are 4 pad locks. The first one is locked but the rest are not. And i see the number 15. What does that mean/ wud it work?
