im having trouble connecting my k700i with my pc. there was no data link cable included in the k700i box so have decided to use the usb data cradle that came with my p800. i have installed the k700 pc suite software but when i try to connect it doesnt seem to recognise the phone. the problem seems to be that the computer doesnt recognise the data cable connected to the phone. the computer tells me that the drivers for the usb cradle have not been instaled, yet when i try to instal these off the k700 pc suite cd it tells me that they cannot be found. will the k700i work with the p800 usb cradle (it does actually fit) or are the drivers included in the k700 pc suite software incompatible with the p800 usb cradle. thanx in advance for the hapl.

Yes,it seems to me the first series of the K700 look like a very crappy phones. Thats a pity mainly for . Many people has decided to go for other marks of cell phones.

I think somewhere is thread about using P8/9 cradle for T630 - you can find answers there... But If I can recommend you - go and buy dongle - itīs much better solution!

@boto - was it necessary?
no cellphone...

I just bought the iogear bluetooth dongle for my k700. And i have installed the firmware, the dongle and the pc suite. I have also checked that the port which the dongle is using is activated, BUT i can still not connect my phone with the computer... Anyone knows what to do?

I am having the same problem with regards to it detecging my drivers.

I am even using the correct cradle that came with the K700i

I have tried to manually point the device manager wizard at my drivers to find them, i have re-downloaded the drivers from the SE website, still no luck!

Can anyone please help?

Thanks
Nic

With BT, you have to pair/discover the device, either from the phone, or PC.

For the cradle, maybe try using the driver for DCU-11?
