Or do the screen and the buttons light up ALL THE TIME during the whole charging period? Mine lights up all the time even in power saving mode (-->during the charging period). People tell me that the SE T610 screen and buttons light up when you stick in the charger, then the screen goes black during the charging period. Also, I know this sounds retarded, but does it hurt the K700i phone if the screen is always lit up during the whole charging period, or if it's overcharged...since the screen always say "charging" and you never know when it finishs or stop??? Relieve my paranoia... Thanks,

But if you're charging the phone with the power off, then you're gonna have it on that bright, white screen.
