I do not know exactly what you mean but I guess this will help
move the cursor to the mail message to highlite it.
press on the key between the yes and the 1
scroll to mark for deletion
confirm
next time you connect to the mail it will be deleted
hope that helps |

Is it possible to delete the email from the phone but leave it on the server ? After I marked my emails for deletion and then connected, it deleted them from both the phone and my yahoo account |

No its not possible. Once you mark it for deletion on the T68 it will completely erase the email once you connect to your server. |

As the phone only stores a few emails on the phone, it will drop the older emails in favour of the new. If you want to specifically keep an email, you can copy it to the archive (at least on the T39 you can), by going to the email menu and selecting copy to archive. This then stores it in a seperate mailbox called archive |

Why dont you guys work with seperate email accounts ??
- Take your "normal" account and configure it to send a COPY of the mail to a new freemail account. Or get this new freemail account to collect the mail from your old account.(and leave a copy on the server)
- Then just connect to the new account to get your mail.
http://www21.gmx.net/de/cgi/login as an example will do this for you
Moreover you have the advantage to work with filters to avoid downloading (or attepting to download) anythink you do not want |

How do you set up the POP mail on the T39 !!
I have tried the URL as well as the IP address of my mail server but it does not work.It goes from "finding server" to "connecting" and then it just sits there...
