Did u try turn on / off the fone and take out the battery?

The bobafett trick is a very important one: many of us don't know that switching off a phone does NOT reset it completely, because the power is not switched totally, parts of the phone are still energized.
The same applies to PCs. Switching them off or pressing the reset button does NOT reset all the interfaces or peripherals in the computer.
The only way to have a total reset is to remove the power source completely: removing the battery or unplugging the power cord.

Unless u have a P-Series which has the nice total reset feature of holding the power button for 10seconds. I've never had a problem this didn't resolve.
