ok, the nec 515 is "exclusive" to at&t, well damn...
no one at at&t customer service can be given this number!
I called them and they said the only way to get it unlocked would be to guess the number!!!
I hate AT&T!
Please, I heard of one person being given the number (very rare)...
I want to use this phone!
Yeah, I talked to T-Mobile about my old T616, and they said the unlock code should arrive within 7 days!
That was the best customer service I have EVER had, I actually couldn't believe she knew what she was talking about...It was great!
But they said they aren't familiar with NEC and can't get it unlocked, although she did give me a PUK number for if I get the NEC unlocked far enough!

I found a program which unlocked my NEC 515 and is suppose to work on the 525 as well. Email me if you are still in need and I will send it to you. I can not remember the website I found it in. You will need a USB cable to connect your phone to a computer but it's worth the cost of a cable. |
