I own a Nokia 6600 with O2
My bill shows that I have been using gprs at the same time midnight somedays and paying more than I should. These are day when the phone could not have been used by anyone, Gprs has been disconnected, but phone still on.
Is it possible to recieve gprs when not connected to gprs. One of the people on the end of the phone seemed to think it was my fault. young block - stupid women scenario |

i had a customer in my store who'd set his email up to check for email every 30 minutes...fine when he was in the UK as this didn't cost too much money (couple of pence each time)...however when he was in France it cost him £4 every half hour. Every half hour his phone made 4 attempts to connect to the mail box via GPRS, each of those connection attemps costs £1...he was being charged £8 whilst he was in France for a week!! YOWSER!!
So what i'm saying is, check your settings to make sure you don't have it connecting via GPRS to check email or something like that. |

That would be possible.

I would imagine that if I have used the phone it would be recorded as something
My phone records that I have used less than 6mb of GPRS, all calls are recorded for 30 days, are they recorded longer but not visible.
Should my bill correspond to what my phone says I have used. |
