It looks like a bluetooth headset,but its not.>Its just a personal led lamp..could be useful for working on your laptop in the dark.

 I think it would be quite useless, the laptop screen itself emits light!!!

Laptops don't emit sufficient light to see the keyboard in darkness..I have to use my desk lamp to see the keyboard clearly.
