I can get most phones cheaper at a store, than at e-bay. |

Even the stores are selling only Asian phones, some with chinese lettering. The problem is with SE's restricted warranty not being global as some others are. This is silly especially when GSMs are labelled "world phones" but users must return SE models to their home country to get service when abroad???
Took my in warranty T68i to a service center in Canada and they wouldn't touch it without credit card security deposit. This sucks as to me, the warranty or lack thereof is more important than getting a cheaper phone I might have to toss in the garbage. And I speak of a mftrs warranty not a promise by a seller to have it sent out for repair. Remember "grey market"?. |

I don't know where you are dude, but stores over here (netherlands) definitely do NOT sell Asian models.
As for warranty.... well that's just the ay it is and is not the only global company to play it like that.
How does warranty relate to scammers on Ebay though??
And why do you say scammers on Ebay when in fact they may very well be selling real phones (albeit asian.... still a good deal for asians though)
And where is that link?
What's the purpose of this thread anyway?
And why am I replying?
