July = Summer Not no more.
Seriously crappy weather for july in the Uk with very strong winds and tomorrow is meant to be worse......
What is going on , is the o zone in that bad of a shape...
After seeing the film 'day after tomorrow ' it does make you sit down and think.
I wonder when we would get told (public) if some serious crap was going to happen in the future.
Hmmm , i'm in one of those moods today

since when has July in England meant good weather?
I am reminded of a post card sent to me in oz by a UK friend which showed the 4 seasons. The same person in each season had an umbrella and was fighting the rain and wind, only his clothes changed from winter coat to summer t-shirt etc. very humourous
good movie but a bit unrealistic I think in the time frame that an ice age like that could occur in. I still think apart from our own stupidity a large collision is the most likely earth threatening event. Especially when you take into account that even these days, some large objects that pass by at a relatively close distance are only spotted a year or two in advance like the one in 1997 (I think that was the year) because the Nasa Near Earh Object Program just doesn't have the budget for it all

The weather here in Sweden are also very crappy :-( No sun, just dark clouds and rain all the time...

@ masseur
Okay m8 , i was only really having a moan at the weather
Scary thoughts of a collision , have you seen that documentry called 'space' from the BBC , really good and interesting.
No seriously , every year it gets worse , no seasons anymore (just winter all year round with an odd couple of days of sunshine).
It's about time the goverment told us all about the SG program and let us all go to another world
OOOps!! To much tv me thinks

yeah I have the BBC series "Space" on DVD. its hosted by Sam Neil
bit wishy washy and repetitive really, I would have preferred a bit more depth for such a series.

I'm sorry but from my UK boarding school days and recent years in and out of UK I don't remember it being any different
maybe when we were younger we didn't care so much as we were always far too busy to worry about the weather
ha! it just started raining here in Sunny Frankfurt!
as for stargate stuff... dream on methinks... not in our lifetime anyway

The trees are great here. They provide shade which is good. The sun is too hot.
