hmm...when i go to the Phone Book menu, under Memory Status, i have Phone memory 116(510), SIM memory 107(250), E-mail 30, Voice commands 26(47)...

this only started over the last 2 days. previously, my incoming SMS would not be saved to SIM, ie in my inbox there wasnt that little SIM card icon.

thanks for any info,

chris

Your incoming SMS is automatically saved in your PHONE MEMORY.

If you press SAVE on the menu that will transfer the massege to your SIM Card so you will be able to retrieve it even if you change your phone with another one for a reason or another

thanks for the info...

it seems like my incoming SMS is automatically being saved to my SIM card, not phone memory. i receive the txt, read it, i do NOT save it, but then in my inbox the SIM card logo appears next to the new txt msg i received. and i don't have the "delete" all option in the inbox, cause all my incoming txt are going straight to my SIM card.

again, this just started several days ago...no clue why

thanks

I think the limit on number of SMS in phone memory is 40 messages. All SMS received after this limit is reached will be saved to the simcard automatically.
