I got mine updated from the m to the i, but now I can only record 1072 seconds io 1876 seconds. Why is that? Is the upgrade not succesfull done, or is it the memory space?

Please reply!

since the pictures, ring tones, mms, voice memos share memory you can record less if you have more pictures..

1879s is the maximum if you only use the memory for voice memos..
if you press the options button you can see the amount of avalible recording time..

the black line in the top if the screen also shows how much memory are in use on a scale from 0s to 1879s..

Aha... I downloaded more pics now. so now I have like 45 pics io the normal 55. The reason why is because I had to perform a master reset and lost a lot of backgroundimages and of course the 5 MMS demo's.

But now I understand why I only can record 1072 seconds. This is of course because I have more pics!

I have more than 50 pictures and the record time is still 1879s. What about that?

Well, The number you SEE is 1879, but isn't the little bar below it showing the amount between 0 and 1879 used up? Meaning, mine always shows 1879 at the right end. I just see the %age bar shows how much of that is left for voice record, which is dependent on how much other stuff (pics, etc..) I have in the RAM.
