(physically) hot T66 (or T68?) |

Hello there,
I got my T66 a couple of weeks ago, and I am VERY satisfied with this phone. Using it as my nr. 1 phone, with my good ol' T39 as backup...
However, I have noticed the phone gets very warm in the speaker area (and internal antenna, I persume...) when I have a connection. Ofcourse, the problem is worse when I hold the phone to my ear, but I also notice the temperature when using WAP or handsfree.
Anyone else noticed this?
The T68 also has an internal antenna, does this phone also heat up?
Stay cool,

t39 doesni't heat up because of aluminum alloy back, acts like a heatsink! |

The T66 that I owned two months ago was burning up after a 10 min conversation. After a different problem occured, SE in Greece exchanged it with a new one. The "different" problem was resolved...the heating up persisted!! |

Hmm, this is a problem i had while using the nokia 8210. And i mean real hot. Not a problem with the t68i though. |

Wierd? I would assume that would be a battery drainer. Doesn't do it on my T68i though, seems just fine.

well, my t66 also has a heating problem, but thats not so big i deal i think - i could imagen that its hard to get rid of the heat, when they are developing those small phones with internal antennas..

The T66 is getting much warmer than the other Ericsson models. It's not pleasant to talk more than 15 minutes. It doesn't hurt, but you feel uncomfortable with the heat so close to your head.
This is usually not a problem for me, because I use handsfree. |

you're not supposed to speak for more than 3-5 minutes on the cell phone at a time, it's pretty dangerous
radiowaves are gonna fry your brains.
or was it radiation?
