If this works as advertisted, it looks great. The 'Wrap & Roll' is a simple, elastic, rubber strap that is designed to secure any number of devices -- cellphones, MP3 players, GPS units, extra ammo clips -- to the handlebar of your bike. At $9 apiece, they're almost cheap enough to have handy for securing gear to any pole. You know, if that's your thing.

that's nice, I hang out a lot in my bike, well hanged out before it got broken, but I'm buying a new one. I would love to have one of those in my bike. And if it rains while I put it in my jacket, or belt strap; because you can smell humidity before it rains.

@hika - I don't think my singing will do some HELP to STOP the RAIN It will EVEN worsen the situation I guess, from tropical depression to - TSUNAMI !
Staying on, there will be new releases of mobiles (this year I guess) that has a GPS feature on it. I think this will be of GREAT help to bikers (specially for Big Bikes) in cross-country or inter-state journeys at that . . .

very handy indeed. I've been looking for something like this. I'm not a big rider, about 80 KM a week on average. But it's enough that I need something like this for my phone. I can then also use the led light as a headlamp!

Useless...absolutely useless,
The vibration and shock from the handlebars will be directly transferred to your mobile (cell) phone. This will result in cases becoming loose, screens not working in fact all manner of errors.
Before you start saying what do I know. I am a mountainbiker who uses a handlebar mounted GPS all the time. The gps and its mount are well designed and capable of handling rough terrain but still has its issues. A phone will last next to no time in such a situation.
Also the design is basically a big rubber band that uses the stiffness of the phone to secure itself against the bars...not good.
If the company wants to properly design something then my thoughts would be more a sleeve mounted to a cycle light type fitting with shock absorbing rubber in between.....better still a closed system of opposing magnets so the whole thing "floats" slightly.
Anyways.....I guess if $9 for a rubber band is cheap then go buy one and try it. Just be sure your phone is insured |

it does have a rubber base that looks to support it better than a rubber band would which would offer no damping at all between the bar and the phone. And apart from the occasional off road foray and jumping gutters, I am mostly on road, footpath or grass.
I'd be willing to try it, but if it looked like it was being jarred too much I'd stop using it.

ok, so this strap is made for softer terrains (that is), not the rugged ones... tho i think the sample pics uses a mountain bike which is for rugged terrains... i guess a more fitting picture is that.. it is strapped in a low-rider bike... hhmm how bout that?!
ok since we have settle this differences, i guess we all know what can make us happy...
next product please!

mines a mountain bike, but I use it mostly for getting around the city. I prefer mountain bikes over racers for the increased mobility - you can go off road when you need to, jump gutters without busting a wheel, smoother ride, better work out, jumps etc! Course I'll be pocketing my K750 before doing any jumps
