I heard they used old SE processors in Siemens M65 and others of 65ser. Can anyone confirm that and name the SE models in which those processors are installed?

I don't think it's that simple, the 65 series have larger screens and everything
From Nokias to an SE to whatever.

i don't think so, siemens is almost the most complete company in the world, i don't think they need for other processors for their phones

@rammm: Not sure about Siemens being "the most complete..." Their C62 was an ODM model, meaning it was outsourced, firmware & hardware inclusive. Note that there's no support for the C62 firmware from Siemen's site.

I have heard that some Siemens mobiles are derived from Ericsson phones. How true it is I dont know.

@jcwhite: Heard those stories too. T68/S55; T610/C62 etc, etc. Don't know how true exactly the stories are.

You are really, really wrong:-) Siemens uses Ericsson's platform in their phones. Not mention design similarities (cf62, z200) and so on...

@govigov: There is the possibility, but unless confirmed, the possibility remains just that - or a rumour :)

@aya, thanks. We will have to find a kind soul who will let us open up his siemens. In which case, can it be found out?
