Howdy,

I've had the k700 for about a week now and it's otherwise a good phone but one thing seems strange. Namely the k700's battery life. When not using the phone at all it battery life seems to be about 3-4 days. However, when using the mediaplayer, radio, wap and gaming the battery doesn't even last for whole day. Maybe 10-15 hours! Is this normal. I know that these functions are battery drainers, but e.g. my girlfriends nokia can play radio for days!

Is this normal k700 behaviour or should the k700 have longer battery life than i've experienced?

Cheers!

my battery isn't great. I have been using it a bit today, couple of short calls and take 30+ pics and 4vids, and have 4 pixels of battery life left. If i used wap today i am guessing the phone would be dead by now.

All i hear is moaning about the K700's battery life..

But other phones like the T610 also die in under a day if you use them too much.

You say you got 10-15 hours of use out of your phone performing all those tasks ? thats great !

when you go to the product homepage of the k700 there is a note at the bottom for all k700i's to be recalled because of something to do with the battery. i forgot to post it, because i had to come off the web and it came on a couple of days ago.

maybe it was a wrong choice of SE to put in a 650 Mah Li-Ion battery. (imo it is) The T610 has a more powerfull battery! Awefull!

But, dispite this problem, still in love with SE

I just hope i can buy a 900 Mah Li-Polimer battery soon enough.

The recall isn't for the K700i, it's for the charger.

That doesn't help me, I use the rapid travel charger from my old SE T39m and battery life still blows.

The T610 has a Li-Polymer 770 mAh battery

The K700 has a Li-ion 700 mAh battery, not 650 mAh.
