I was thinking the other day, that if the screen of the the t230 is the same size as the t68i, would it be possible to use it and produce more colors? for t300?, t310?

You wouldn't use all colours 'cos the firmware. It support only 256 colours.

it would be possible if you could flash the t68i with the t230 gdfs but i think it would wreck the phone. or you could just swap the PCB's over from each phone, change the button, mic and speaker, and battery configurations.
either way i wouldnt recommend it unless you were prepared to loose both phones/parts.
sounds like a fun idea though.
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

i guess the idea is awesome. actually, to be more precise i would do it if i had the means. but unfortunatelly i dont.
sure u wont get 4096colours on yer t68i just by replacing the screen, but you.d be getting those 256 far better and a hundred times more accurate. and 256 looks beautiful when well implemented (remember that most of web content is web.safe 128 colours and max 256 in .gif s !!!)
should one have the means try it and give us some feedback!
