Hi!!
I have a nokia 6230, and would like to know where to find software to download so i can update myself by cable....
anyone who can give me the site where i can download software.... |

At a guess, I'd say the Nokia site, maybe in the Nokia 6230 Support section, in the Software Downloads part...

You need a special cable to do this. It is not the common data cable but a version with more pins so to access the phones eprom (eraseable programmable read only memory). That cable is rare and expensive. And ofcourse you may flash the phone wrong and destroy it. Better take it to a nokia service point.
